For the 23rd consecutive year, the Bernheim Foundation is awarding, for the academic year 2025-2026, six scholarships (three French-speaking and three Dutch-speaking) for a 10-month internship with the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the European Union.
The Bernheim European Internship is a unique opportunity for young Belgian academics to gain professional experience in European affairs. The traineeship is aimed at young people who, at the start of the traineeship (September 1, 2025), hold a Master’s degree and are no more than 27 years old on December 31, 2025.
Applications must be submitted between February 1 and February 28, 2025 at the latest.
The total value of the scholarship is €12,000.
